I have two pc's i use less regularly -- an HTPC and a test box.
HTPC
AMD 64 3200+
Asus k8v se with gigabit
1gb ram
Test Machine
AMD athlon 1700+
256gb ram
10/100pci
I'd like to set up trixbox and IPcop if possible. I was thinking of doing wmware on the htpc with trixbox, and setting up ipcop on the test machine. Would this be the best configuration. The htpc is used sparringly, only for web surfing etc.
In about a week, im going to set up an old tyan machine as a file server with windows small business.

1gb
raid sata
It's mini rackmount, so i cant add much, although it does have dual gigabit nics
Would it be better to run vmware on this machine rather than another?
