Best all-terrain tires under $150/piece for 235/75R15?

Thoughts? BFG All-Terrain are pretty close to $150 depending on where you go but with fees and taxes get closer to $185/piece. Looking to replace a set of four for under $600, ideally. Currently have ooooold BFG AT. The new generation seems to get decent reviews and the current ones don't seem overly loud. That's why I'm heavily biased towards them at the moment. It's important they're not loud at high speed because I do a lot of highway miles.

Looking for quiet on the freeway/road but decent for off-road too. It's going on a 1995 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L. Running 235/75R15 currently, may as well keep it the same...

Think Pacific Northwest off-roading. Some dirt, some mud, some snow. No extremes.

If you're not doing anything more severe than dirt roads, basically any tire in that size will work.

I like General Grabber AT2 or Firestone Destination A/T in that price range. Both were good on/off road performers when I had my '01 XJ.

I ran the BFG All-Terrain for a number of years. Great traction but I always seemed to rip the sidewalls when off roading.
I switched to Firestone Destination AT. I was shocked at how well they did off road, in the snow. But my truck was heavy.

we had the same trouble with them on our work trucks. F-350s with E rated tires we went to the bridgestone revo2 and were quite impressed with them in our conditions.

Look into the Hankook Dynapro MT. Even though its probably more off road based than you will do ive ran 4 sets of them on 2 different vehicles and find them to be very quiet and well mannered on road as well. They are on my daily driver right now a toyota 4 runner. Also ran 2 sets on a full size chec 3/4 ton PU.

Most of the off roading i do though is like the second picture above.

Bought Cooper Discoverer A/T3 based on the article above... and that no one here agreed on tires. Got them from discount tire direct for $480 shipped. There's a $70 MIR that I'll be getting with it too. I'll take the tires over to Walmart and get them put on that way. I'll get an alignment after I put them on too. Maybe not at walmart but who knows where. Gotta find a place that does a good job for a good price.

Well, considering how this car is used, it didn't make sense to spend $800-900 on tires. The last tires were on it for about 8-9 years.
