Best All-in-One LASER Printer for WINDOWS 7

Hello all. We've upgraded all of our computers to Windows 7. Our HP 1320 works beautifully, but it is just a printer. Our Canon MF3240 is an all-in-one (printer, scanner, copier, fax). It too works beautifully if you just want to print. The problem is the scanner, copier, fax fail to work because Canon hasn't updated the software for the printer to be compatible with Windows 7 64-bit.

After searching Newegg.com, my local retail stores, and Tigerdirect, I cannot find a 100% compatible laser printer for Windows 7 64-bit. They are all recommended for Win XP or Win Vista and almost all of them say "some windows 7 features may not work with this printer"

What is 100% compatible??? I would like: All-in-one with either USB connection and/or ethernet connection, wireless isn't a must, but would be convenient.

Any help would be appreciated! 🙂

I used to say good things about HP lasers, but over the past couple years they really have been slipping in build quality and the performance/cost ratio.

Unfortunately I dont know who to suggest as a replacement. I've got a Brother color laser right now and its acceptable for my needs. But its not multifunction and its out of production anyway.
And just so you know, if it works in Vista, it works in 7. They just didnt go through the process of verifying it with 7 because it pretty much is Vista, with some tweaks. Since they didnt verify operation they have to say those things.

7 is not 7, its Windows 6.2. Dont believe me? Make your startup Verbose, you will see it.

Anything that works with Windows Vista should work with Windows 7. The architecture and drivers are essentially the same, just like Windows 2000 drivers usually work fine on Windows Xp (though that has changed, since Windows Xp is very different today from what it used to be).

We have this one: Brother MFC-7340. It works great. We have a Brother color/duplex laser (HL-4070cdw) as out main printer, and the AIO for backup (it's only B/W and not auto duplex) and for scanning documents (attorney). It' relatively small, too. Works right out of the box with Win7 64-bit.
