Best all-around full-size multi-plier and knife?

I want to get a high-quality multi-tool that I can use while fishing, working, camping, etc that I can get used to carrying around. I don't want to have to worry about it rusting when being splashed with salt water and I would like it to be comfortable in the hand - so it isn't painful to apply a lot of torque.

So far, the best one I can find is the Gerber Multi-plier 800 Legend. It lets you change wire blades and use actual jigsaw blades. It also looks like it will be comfortable in the hand. Though, it looks a bit on the heavy side.

Anyone know of a better multi-plier to consider?

EDIT: The Leatherman Crunch also seems pretty good, though it lacks some of the features of the 800 Legend. Locking pliers would be a lot more useful than just plain pliers, imo.

I have a Leatherman Wave I received as a gift and it's a very fine multi-tool.
I like that the blades are high quality material(ATS34 if I recall correctly) and they lock open. It too is a bit heavy but any time you cram all those tools and a decent pair of pliers into one device it's gonna have some weight.

I only use Gerber. They have stood behind their warranty every time I've needed tips on the knives and screw drivers replaced.

I have had a couple of Gerber and Leatherman multi-tools over the years, and I would say from a durability standpoint, I have been happier with the Gerber products, FWIW.

Edit: Also have a Buck multi-tool, which is lighter, but consequently less sturdy.

Ive been looking at this gerber for a while, hopefully ill get it for xmas. I like the paint thats why im choosing it over the 800 legend, but i might change my mind.

That one does look pretty pimp - but it looks like it would hurt my hand if squeezed hard and it's 3/4" longer when closed up and in the pocket.
