Best AGP video card right now for under $250?

Current system consists of 9600pro, barton 2600+, 1gb ram, asus mb. Suggestions?

Or should I wait and upgrade mb/proc first to something with PCI-E and then get a 6600GT or something like that?
 
your only options are the R9800Pro for $190 and the 9800XT and 6800 NU for around $280.


Since the latter are out of your price range i would just sit this one out. Wait to upgrade to PCIe and a new system.
