Best AGP Video Card I can buy right now?

you would be better off just getting a X850XT versus the X850XT PE, they are only clocked a small amount apar, have the same number of pipes and the price difference just isn't worth the small gap in performance

The X850XT was the competition for the 6800 Ultra which it beat in most games. Performance should be close to identical to what you were getting with your overclocked 6800GT. But you lose Shader Model 3.0 support.

$287 for an X850XT??? That is way, way too much. Hell, you could buy a PCIe 7600GT and a S754 PCIe motherboard (like the DFI Infinity) and have better performance!

I think a used card would be best for you. Having used a 6800GT, stepping down to an AGP 7600GS/X1600 wouldn't be a good idea...and moving up to a 7800GS has way too high a price premium. Try and look for another 6800GS/GT or an X850XT, I guess. I'm not good with optimal pricing for used-cards but it has got to be around $120, I think.

Speaking strictly about performance here. The best AGP model availble for the American market (there is one better but not sold in America and its very hard to find) is the eVGA 7800GS CO Superclock. The second best is the x850XT/PE. The 7800GS matches or slightly beats out the x850XT/PE in all games but one. FEAR. The x850XT/PE is winner there. The 7800GS has the newer technology though that many feel gives it the overall edge between the two. If cost is a consideration just buy the cheapest of the two and you should be okay. Ideally though people should start to move to PCIe systems if they already havent.

6800GS for just about equivalent performance of your 6800GT (if you unlock and overclock). the next step up is the X850XT/XTPE and the geforce 7800GS.

I don't think you can go wrong with either the X850XTPE or 7800GS; they will both offer great performance in pretty much every game out there, even Oblivion (though'll have to cut some corners in that one, but it will run very well if you don't go overboard with the settings and if you tweak it right).
