I was in your position, except I was upgrading from a 9600 pro. I was planning on holding off until I build a new system, but then I got a great deal from the ATI trade-up program:

http://shop.ati.com/tradeup.asp

They had the X800 XT All-In-Wonder for $125.99 after trade-in and $5 instant discount (free shipping too). You can trade in any old videocard, it doesn't matter. It appears that they removed that card from the trade in list though, so you should call first if interested.

If you can sell the 9800 pro for about $40 (you said you "lost" it, so maybe you don't have it for sale now) then it's a hell of a deal. Still worth it for for the $130 range.

The wireless multimedia remote they include sells for $50 on its own and is great, definitely something I'm likely to be using even several upgrades from now.

Not sure if the OP has a S754 or S939 (Dependign on if the MB is a Neo or Neo2 Platinum). If its a 939, then buying a new MB and PCI-e 7600 GT (very nice improvement over a 9800 pro) can be done for around $200.

If you have A S754, buying a used AGP card is a good idea. You can find used 6800GT's for <$150 on Ebay easily.
