My uncle has a '03 Toyota Highlander and he wants to add an aftermarket rear view camera to it. It doesn't have an aftermarket stereo right now. It'd cost quite a bit if we went the in-dash DVD option to hook up a camera to it... Is there anything we can use that is portable (and maybe wireless)?

Advance auto parts et al. are selling these all day for $100-200, so you can definitely do it on the cheap. I can't speak to which is better but at advance yesterday they had one on display (always do) and it's turned on so you can see the picture quality. I'd get one except I am not yet old enough that turning my neck causes problems, so I'll continue to use my eyes :)

You must have long and flexible neck. There are cars that have no rear visibility at all, you know?

Try any minivan or larger suv with kids running behind. Must use a camera to see what is going on behind you.
