Best affordable shavers/razors?

I love the mach 3 turbo myself but can't really afford it anymore (out of work)... Anyone have any experiences with other blades? I prefer non-disposeables but lets list them all... Here's what I've tried:

Bic Tri-Blade disposeable: Cheap but really cuts up my face.. Not worth it

Old Spice High Endurance : Not bad at all! I got them on sale for $5 for 4 razors... They pivot and bend/curve according to your face so I got a nice, clean shave.. Never knew old spice made razors but these are pretty good

Duane Reade TriFlex: Non disposeable catridge shaver.. Not terrible but nicked up my face... I'd say slightly better than the bic... $5 for 4 blades (base is cheap but I don't remember how much)

Schick xtreme disposeable: Not bad.. About as good as the old spice blades but more expensive 8 of them for $13....

Anyone try the schick catridges (non disposeable base)? How do they compare to the mach 3?

You have to pull your skin tight for them to give you a close shave. If you just put it up to your face and move it around it (like most people do) it won't cut close at all. But if you stretch your skin and then shave, it will be just about as close as blades.

I can use a Mach 3 razor for up to 3 months. I only shave once a week :p

Yeah, i shave roughly twice a week, i have VERY coarse hair, i still find the mach 3 to be the best for it's money. I can use it the longest. Most of the cheap disposable ones I can only use once (Hence why their disposable) and in the long run they arn't any cheaper since I can use my Mach 3 several times on 1 blade.
