A few months ago I posted about people opinions on reviewing for the ACT and it seemed most said no so I was like, alright, I'll just take it. Well I got my results a while ago and only a 29... I mean that's quite good, but I was hoping around a 31 or 32, which would also put me in like the top 3 or 5 for scholarships, maybe even #1 (scholarships at my HS are based on like 75% GPA, 25% ACT, highest ACT score now is a 31).

So... I signed up for the last test date, Dec 14th. I told myself I was gonna start reviewing a long time ago, but I procrastinated till now.

Is there any tests I can take and learn more to do better by the 14th?

There are reviews out there for the ACT, but I don't know how much help they would provide. To me the easiest sections were Reading(36)and Science Reasoning(33). For some odd reason I didn't do as well in English(28) and math(27) is always a crap shoot for me.

Hah I think mine were the same, just lower. Reading was like 32, Science 29, English 26, Math 26. The math seems to pwn a lot of people, and I thought I'd do well cause I'm good at math and english is teh suck.

Anyone else?

Well, I can't really say the math owned me. ;)

To answer the thread's original question... I just got a simple review booklet from my high school (put out by the company that does the ACT, I believe), and took several practice tests in the booklet. Actually, I was extremely frustrated with the results I was getting on the practice tests, but I tried to stay positive. And on the real test day, it all paid off. :D

Bottom line: I believe that any practice tests you take will help you.

Edit: Your school's highest scorer got 31!? How big is your school?

Got math 33, english 33, reading 31, science 35. Composite 33. Read ACT practice book once before testing.
