I'm looking to pick up a solid 939 mATX motherboard. I'm looking for some overclocking potential but obviously I'm not expecting any miracles. I just want it to be an all-round solid board.

As for the case - it needs to be solid as well with good cooling.

I've read up on the Biostar Tforce 6100 many say that's a good choice. As for cases I've read up on the Silverstone SG01 which seems nice. Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any helpful input :).

Can't comment on a case I haven't owned, but I've owned a number of the Biostar boards and they are solid, plus they overclock fine. 300MHz+ HTT is not a problem, plus they have various voltages to fiddle with.

EDIT: Make sure you get the Tforce6100-939 and not the Geforce6100-M9.

The best AMD mATX mobo is a AM2 mobo. ABIT NF-M2. Currently its considered the best stable OCing AMD mATX by many. It overclocks very nicely. It'll fit in a SG01, MicroFly, Qpack, or whatever SFF case catches your fancy. Check it out.

Careful. Just like the Biostar boards, there's two versions of the Abit board, the NF-M2S and the NF-M2 Nview. The Nview one is the "good" one.

At least it's a consistent naming scheme... I remember NF7-S, NF7-S rev.2, and NF7-S2/NF7-S2G. In this case the extra S seems to mean "sucky" edition ;)

I just wish they would bring back SoundStorm, I loved that feature on my old NF7-S rev. 2
