Best 8500 drivers

Well what are the best drivers for the ATI 8500? I have the newest catalyst drivers installed and so far I have been disappointed with their performance in Army Operations. It felt like the older drivers gave me more FPS. Arent there drivers made by 3rd party people for the card?
 
from what i read today, the 2.2 cats are supposed to rock..like a 25% in crease in games like...RTCW..Jediknight II...DS.....and more...

If your card is a "powered by ATI" the manufactuer of the card should have their own drivers, my PowerColor Radeon 8500 really has a problem with ATI support drivers. I had to use PowerColors, which perform really well 🙂
