Well I think I am going to go RAID and there seem to be 2 viable motherboards to choose from the Abit SA6R and the MSI 815EP Pro R (MSI 6337 ver. 3.0A). I am familiar with the Abit but not so familiar with the MSI (or MSI in general) and from what I hear MSI has been building some really nice motherboards lately so what do you think?? LMK :)

well as far as the 815 chipsets go, i have the CUSL2, and if i didnt get that it would have been MSI mobo. but since you are looking for raid, i would go w/ MSI. of the three brands, ASUS is the most stable followed closely by MSI. and since the CUSL2 doesnt offer raid, get the MSI. very reliable...i wouldnt take chances with Abit...not to say they make a bad mobo, but the SA6R is the first real good one they've made in a while, and i wouldnt chance it on that...

I'm going to throw another board into the equation - the Iwill WO2-R - it's a solid i815E board with onboard RAID. Anand actually gave it quite a favourable review here.

I use an Asus CUSL2-C & a Promise Fasttrack 100 raid card. :) I find that to be the best combo available right now.
