Best 802.11G Wireless Access Point and Card

Here is my setup:

Have a Cable Modem; Linksys Wired 4 port Router and a Linkys Switch for two PCs on floor below. Running Windows 2K on Dell laptop (no wireless card) and XP on Toshiba with 802.11b card.

Questions: Have read 802.11 G standard approved. So, with my setup what is best for me as a Wireless Access Point and Card? Linksys, D-Link, ... Any problems with this combo and should I get a better antenna for the WAP?
