$100 is the limit. Will be running x2,2gb,300gb,8800 series,ect. Is the Fortron Blue Storm 500watt still considered a good one?
 
I'd get the Corsair VX550 over the blue storm any day. Single rail so much better, plus has more amps on the 12V too.
 
both get brilliant reviews...the HX520 is modular if that matters. Also the HX520 has been on the market longer so any bugs that it might have had have come to light more readily.

But there are soem on these forums who would tell you that the FSP made PSU`s have a spotless reputation and are as good as any PSU`s on the market......so whose right?

Again iether PSU will do Sniper fine!!

The BlueStorm 2 is much improved over the original BlueStorm and is worth a look.

Well FSP isn't spotless, they have had that out of spec ripple issue (whether the blue storm 2 has that I don't know).

Yeah, well the Corsair is single rail vs. dual rail, with more amps to boot. The blue storm also has those two ugly pink cables, wth is up with that 😛

You're right, both are good units but I was just giving my opinion on it.

well, you could just buy it at club it for 99 and not mail in the rebate if you "dislike" it so much.
