I have a 46 inch 1080p Sharp Aquos right now that I'm usin as my computer monitor, and decided that I need something bigger to watch TV on.

So I decided on a projector, but I don't have too much money at the moment on me, so I can only afford something under 400.

Please show links to any site that sells something good, I'll even take ebay auction projectors.

Thanks.

you may be able to find a used business projector with a little bulb life left (4:3) that can handle a 720p signal -- 1024x768 (kind of HD).....seriously, you won't be able to find a 720p projector with a good bulb for that amount.

I did get a laugh that 46" was big enough for a PC, but too small for a TV....as I type on my tiny 22" Widescreen LCD :)

dont you want a 1080p image if your going to use it for your computer? something with only 720 lines of resolution will not look that great when its over 48" in size.

Dang it You AV freaks are all the same, He said 400 "not a penny more" :)

Stay away from el cheapo projectors though. They're just crap, u might as well use your tv. Especially since you can't use cheap projectors if theres any background lighting going on at all.

"You could, it'd just be even crappier"
