Best 60"+ IPS LCD tv?

I bought the 65" E series Vizio yesterday. I'm liking it a lot, but the very first thing you have to do is turn off the automatic dimming function. It drove me nuts.

is the M series a worthwhile upgrade from the E series?

I was intending on getting a 60 inch e600i-b2 at $829, but the 55" M series just came down to the same price. is it worthwhile to drop 5 inches to gain a faster refresh rate?

all i'm going to do with this screen is play games and watch movies.

i should note that i'm going to be sitting around 9 feet from the screen.

Katzmaier at CNET says no. Over at AVS the consensus is around 50/50. Around Halloween Vizio will start to release the P series that will offer 4K with good video processing for 1K for the 50"

I honestly can't imagine a need for 4k for another 5-6 years at least.

newest gen consoles won't support it, and they're gonna be current tech for that long.

To take advantage of the good video processing and the new 2020 color gamut at a bargain.
