So, narrowish case, and want some clearance. Arctic Freezer 64 Pro is borderline, and hard to find now anyway. Any slightly-shorter alternatives of comparable price/effectiveness?

It would help alot to knopw what case you are using?
Also thats the inherent problem with aftwer market heatsinks that were made for performance.

Most of us just live with it!!

Unless you get something like the XP120 or the Big Typhoon.....

The Zalman flower style coolers are very short, I've used them in HTP/MATX application where there is little clearance

SI-128 and a 25mm thick 120mm fan comes to about 4.6 in. So you would have around 1/2 in. of clearance. Whats your case? Do you need vertical or horizontal cooling?
