Best 5.25" Fan Controller?

It must be black and have the ability to go as low as 5V. I was looking at the sunbeam rheobus but don't like the fact that it has super bright LEDs. I also looked at the Vantec, but I've heard negative reviews and it doesnt go lower than 7V.

I'm looking for a cool fan controller also, but Sudheer is right. Look at how ugly this this is!! And NO I wouldn't marker the lights either 🙂 Maybe the light bulbs can be removed. The price is right on the sunbeam, although I'd probably have to find a way to remove the name Sunbeam so it doesn't look like I put a Microwave Oven in one of my bays.

Also, does anyone know if there will be any clearance problem with the knobs in an Antec/Chieftech case with a door?

Only the zalman one goes as low as 5V. Most go to about 7V. If you really don't need to go as low to 5V, get the noise isolator PWN one at svc. Looks pretty snazzy and has 2 12VDC on/off buttons. Also each of the 3 channels support 2 fans, so you can hook up as much as 6 fans and 2 cold cathodes to this sucker. I would get the PWN one but I don't need those 12VDC switches since I plan to use a sound sensitive module for my CCFL.

Get the Sunbeam, go to RadioShack and replace the LEDs with less superbright ones. The LEDs are simple to replace and inexpensive. I did it with both of my Sunbeams. Though the best reason (for me at least) to get a Sunbeam is that it can turn off completely. Yes the LEDs are painfully bright. But, yes, they are super easy to replace. Pop the old ones out, and the new ones in. Five minutes and you are done.
