The 5100 out of the choices though.

THe BEST is the Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1.

But since you didnt have it up there, I vote for Logitech x530.

what computer speakers are better than klipsch 5.1 ultras w/ out goin w/ a receiver, amp, and home theatre style set-up?

If you'll allow adding a HT sub, I'd rather have a few sets of Swan M200s.

3 sets of Swans and a nice sub with a good built in crossover would be my pick.
