Best 5.1 digital speakers for <$100?

I'm looking for a surround sound setup that has digital-in capability.

I want to make sure it can be hooked up to the D-out on my DVD player as well as give me sound for PC games.

And NO, I'm not looking to spend $300 on those crazy Klipsch's or Logitechs. For that kind of money, I can buy a home theater system!

Thanks in advance to anybody who can help.

I think the Logitech Z-640's are the BEST for low price.
Creative labs and Klipsch also have cheap 5.1's.
I had the Yamaha TSS-1B(black) for $200. It had the ability to dynamically change between 2.0, 4.0 and 5.1 sound. Will use DPL to upmix stereo into 5.1.
That was many years ago. If you look around I'm sure you could get it for $100.

The other option is to look at walmarts electronics section. They have plenty of low-end 5.1 systems right next to the expensive stuff. Radio Shack too.

If you can squeeze 54 more bucks, the Logitec z-5300 are 100x better than the z-640's i just made the switch myself and it was amazing.

My altec lansings smokes them all.
There's no way you can get 3" midranges, tweeters, 8" subwoofer, wireless remote, dolby digital decoder all in one package for under $100. Just buy mine 🙂
