best 5.1 Creative Inspire speaker set

I'm looking to purchase a new 5.1 speaker set to go along with my new X-Fi ExtremeMusic sound card...I'm looking at the Creative Inspire set as I live in an apartment building and those 500+ watt speaker sets from Logitech etc. would only cause complaints from my neighbors (I speak from experience as I used to have the Klipsch 4.1 set but had to take them down after repeated complaints from my neighbors) but don't know which ones are the best...anyone have any opinions/recommendations?...I do a lot of high end gaming and DVD watching (dolby digital 5.1/DTS)

Or you could buy some nice stereo bookshelfs and actually take advantage of that nice sound card you have...seems like such a waste to spend so much on a nice sound card only to underachieve on some tiny speakers.

The Logitechs cause complaints because they are have a 4" driver and a 10" passive radiator, its not a true subwoofer, which is why it distorts so much and bothers the neighbors. A good, tight hitting sub wouldn't annoy your nextdoor apartment tenant.

Well, he had a Klipsch speaker set before and he doesn't want to look at the Logitech. Which is a good idea since the Klispch is a good subwoofer and Logitechs would be even worse.

The Inspire 5900 I think were the good ones... did you look at Creative G500? They would go well with the X-Fi (as well as the S750, but that thing is a beast).

the G500 and S750's are nice but way too powerful...if I lived in a house then those would be really nice...I need something under 100 watts total...thats why I was looking at the Inspire speaker sets

Inspire 5900... I have a really castrated version of them (5400) and they're pretty good for their value.

EDIT: problem is, unless you get into the $200 range, you're really holding back the power of that sound card. You could also look into a pair of refurbished Klipsch I-Fis for $200, if 5.1 isn't a necessity.

the Inspire 5900's look like a good option...the T6060 set also looks interesting...I think those are the newest ones...

Klipsch iFi, what cevilgenius was talking about. It's a 2.1 set that shouldn't even be placed in the same category as computer speakers, its heads and shoulders above the Klipsch 5.1 Ultra or Creative S750 satellites.
