I plan on buying the following:

EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16813188013) for my Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, and I am having a hard time deciding on ram. I definitely want 4gb, but it's hard to find decent reviews/benchmarks for my kind of setup, since 4gb kits are still pretty new to the scene.

I plan on overclocking the cpu to it's full potential with a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Cooler, but I want to make sure that I won't be wasting money on that if I get a bad set of ram. The current kits I am considering are the following:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820231148
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820220227
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820220269

Those two Patriot kits both look good, the only difference seems to be tighter timings and 2.2 voltage for the slightly more expensive kit.

What should I be aiming for here? Tighter timings or looser timings? Which is better for overclocking a Quad 6600 to it's max? Is there any other good memory kits out there for a decent price? Sorry about all the questions, but I am stumped on this! Thank you.

One thing to keep in mind with the 680i is that you can unlink the RAM speed from the FSB, so you don't necessarily need RAM that clocks super-high, especially as the board won't go much past 400FSB with a quad.
