Best 40in. LCD Screen

Greetings,

I'm not very well 'with it' when it comes to large format (40in.) LCD screens or the differences that distinguish them as good media, gaming and application screens. So I wanted to write the community of enthusiasts here and ask you what you recommend?

I'm interested in >40in. 1080p that scales well for movies, gaming and application use. I've heard good things about the Sharp Aquos series, but I was hoping for some more rounded advice on products and technology out there.

Samsung 4061F or 4065F overall best LCDs on the market at the moment. If you can wait another month the 71 and 81 series will be out with 120hz, better contrast ratios and in the 81 series LED backlight.

I've been looking at both the 4061F and 4065F Samsungs and they look great. I don't think you can go wrong with either and are probably going to be at least a few hundred dollars less than the 71 an 81 series Samsungs coming out.

how about the new 42" 1080p panasonic? th-42pz700u is the model #. best ~40" 1080p tv available
