Im looking to buy a new LCD HDTV 40-42" preferably 42' maybe. I was looking at this Toshiba Regza 42RV535U http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16889253162 This is on sale for $889 on buydig.com...

Its not a 120hz tv but since im not a big fan of sports and I heard that the 120hz is usually better for watching sports I dont think it matters to me... unless im wrong.

I cant find a lot of reviews on this TV since its probably a new model ( not sure) thats y i need some help. I need a tv that has good enough speakers coz I wont have it connected to a home theater all the time....
I won't be playing games with.... mostly for regular tv maybe digital tv later on and DVDs maybe bluray in future...

Thanks

The Samsung 6 series (120Hz) in the 46" range about $1500 and the 40" is about $1400 at BB. They are probably cheaper online.

The 535 is the Fall08 Toshiba, so yes it is quite new. It has the cell processor in it for their "Super Resolution Technology" scaling as they put it. I hear its quite good though nothing too special. For 889 it is quite a good deal. Costco also has the 40RV52U (Same as 40RV525U) in store for 800 with the 2 year coverage they offer. I suspect the 535 is a decent step up from the 525 but I haven't ever seen both side-side to tell for sure. Personally at CES in January 08 I thought Toshiba and Samsung had the two most impressive TV lineups for 2008, and the RV535 is newer than those so you are probably well off selecting that.
