Best 3mp digital camera?

I want to buy my cousin a 3mp digital camera. I just picked up the 4mp canon s400 and its amazing, but he doesn't need that kind of megapixelage

What is a good 3mp point and shoot? Does canon pretty much offer the same quality even on the cheaper cameras or is there a better value in another brand for 3mp?

I've just got an A70, absolutely brilliant.

Excellent for PAS, plus you've got so many options if you wish to learn how to use all the features later on

You gotta buy NiMH batteries and charger seperately. About the only drawback to this camera.

Just picked one up with a bundled 128mb flash card for $286! Looks like a great cam. Thanks for helping me pick out my cousin's present, he should be really happy with it
