Best 360 controller? Is there one?

I still have my original 360 controller and its starting to feel a little worn. I was playing my PS3 the other day and I realized how much more "room" there was on the analog sticks, giving me a higher degree of sensitivity when I moved it. I am wondering if there are any 360 remotes that have better quality analog sticks for more accurate/sensitive movement? I'm specifically thinking of something that would be better quality for FPS's as thats what I mainly play.

I don't think anyone makes a better 360 controller than the standard Microsoft controller, but you can buy little extensions that go on the top of the analog sticks to make them taller. That would essentially give you the effect you want.

I find the PS3's sticks way too mushy, whereas the 360's have much more resistance and smoothness throughout the action which I think makes for more precise movement.

You might want to look into that MW2 controller that was released. It's by Madcatz, but maybe they've managed to make something that doesn't suck.

I remember finding a website of a company that made extenders that went on the sticks, that would give you way more precision. I can't find the site anymore, don't remember what it was called, but they had those and thumbpad covers to give you more grip. Really cool looking products, but they were like 10 or 15 bucks each.

Bah! Here it is.

I would not recommend the Madcatz MW2 controller. Stick with the standard MS 360 controller - by far the best controller out there at this point.
