I'm having a hard time choosing some memory for my Abit IP35 Pro. I'm looking for sticks preferably under $150 because I'm going to buy two packs for 4GB total and I want to keep the total price around $300 (after rebates). These are the choices that I have come down to:
2GB (2 x 1GB) Patriot eXtreme Performance DDR2 1066MHz - $134.99 AR

(2.3V @ 5-5-5-9)
2GB (2 x 1GB) Crucial Ballistix DDR2 1066MHz - $129.49 AR
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820148069
(2.2V @ 5-5-5-15)
2GB (2 x 1GB) OCZ Platinum DDR2 1066MHz - $133.99 AR
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820227178
(2.1V @ 5-5-5-15)
Slightly pricier, but I will consider as well:
2GB (2 x 1GB) GeIL Ultra DDR2 1066MHz - $156.99 AR
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820144034
(2.4V - 2.5V @ 5-5-5-15)
2GB (2 x 1GB) Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2 1066MHz - $159.49
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820148070
(2.2V @ 5-5-5-15)
Right now I will be temporarily running this on my Pentium 4 550 @ 4.0GHz (watercooled) with a 1:1 FSB in Vista Ultimate x32. Yes, I realize that I won't see 4GB total RAM, but I am going to install Vista Ultimate x64 around December/January when I get my 45nm Penryn (can't wait
with a stock 1333MHz FSB. With that said, please let me know what sticks are best for the value, and specifically which ones will give me lowest latencies while achieving stable yet decent overclocks. Again, my final CPU will have a 1333MHz FSB (which I will overclock as much as possible), so whatever will give me the best value with that in mind is ideal. Thanks in advance.
