BEST 2d quality dvi card?

I'm building a computer for graphic designer who is planning on spending several thousand bucks on a new system, so what's the dvi card that will give her the best 2d quality? matrox?

both ATI and matrox are very good at DVI output. Matrox 2D is better under normal VGA-out (analog) mode.

I thought the DVi Image will be top notch no matter what the card.

DVI is a digital interface, unlike an analog signal that can be influenced by filter circuits etc. Signal should be fine no matter what card is used. Assume of course that you will be using a LCD monitor.
