Best 2D card?

I do the vast bulk of my work on a 2D desktop. Anybody have any recommendations for a new AGP card with exceptional 2D quality?
 
Matrox G450 is the reference standard for 2D quality.

Their utilities is also good too, ie: snap to edge windows, multi desktop.
 
Not to mention, the G450 is also fairly cheap. I use it in my system since I no longer game and want the best 2D quality.
 
there's no beating matrox when it comes to 2d quality. Of course, the Radeon has good 2d quality as well and has much better 3d performance. but if all you need is 2d, go for the matrox
