Best 24", 1080p monitor for displaying 720p content? (PS3, 360, etc)

Currently I have a Dell 2405 monitor which is absolutely horrible for displaying 720p content so last week I purchased a seperate 32" LCD TV (Samsung LN32B460) which is 720p but has a native resolution of 1336x768 which means all 720p content is scaled.

Are there any monitors which are 1080p but can display 720p with the same quality as the Samsung LCD TV that I just purchased? I'd like to have one monitor/tv in my office if possible.

I don't care too much about viewing angle or input lag as long as it's as good as my current Dell 2405.

So, can a 1080p monitor match a LCD TV for 720p content or am I better off just keeping the seperate LCD TV for 720p content?

Do you mean view 720p content in your monitors Native 1080p(or higher) resolution?

JCGhz: Yeah, I'm talking about displaying 720p content on the monitor which has a native resolution of 1080p. (or 1920x1200, etc)

brblx: The X-Box 360 has a built-in scaler but almost all games are internally rendered at 720p. You can get the 360 to output 1080p but really it's just scaling the 720p signal. The PS3 on-the-other-hand doesn't have a scaler so most games are output directly in 720p.

The X-Box 360 scaler is decent but I'm wondering if something better exists in a monitor espicially for PS3 content which must be scaled by the monitor itself.
