I've been looking for reviews on the 1920x1200 WUXGA LCD monitors, but haven't found much. Most LCD reviews are for the small 19" monitors. Would anyone know which is the "best" one? I currently have the Samsung SyncMaster 213T and it's great for programming, but it's a bit small for widescreen movies and I see ghosting on games w/ the 25ms response.
Sony's new 23" PremierPro SDM-P234/B monitor looks pretty cool and so do the specs - 16ms response, $2000.
Samsung's 24" SyncMaster 243T is an inch bigger, but is slower w/ 25ms response, $2200.
HP's 23" f2304 HDTV-ready supports DVI, Component Video, and S-Video with 16ms response and integrated speakers, $2100.
Apple's 30" Cinema Display looks gorgeous and has 16ms response, $3300.
I have no need for speakers and 16ms is nice, so I'd go with the Sony over the HP. But the Samsung is an inch bigger...
If the Apple could work with DVI from an NVidia 6800 Ultra, I'd like to get that one. But can DVI go up to 2560x1600?
[EDIT]
I just found the "Corporate" version of HP's monitor:
HP's 23" L2335, 16ms response, 500:1 contrast, and the lowest priced at $1600.
I am a bit skeptical on that HP, though, because "you get what you pay for." Why would it be $400 -$600 cheaper than another 23" LCD?
