I have been meaning to get a quality gaming/general usage 19inch monitor.. i have a feeling people are gonna say get teh samsung 900nf 19" but that is years old surely there is something better out there? Or should i just shutup and get the samsung 900nf?

please advise

thank you!

Samsung 900NF and Sony G420S are both very good, but if you're willing to spend $500 why don't you get a 21" Sony FD Trinitron?

Unless you need dual inputs or integrated speakers you can skip the G420S and get the G410R instead and save yourself about $30. I?ve been using the G410R for a few weeks now and it?s the best 19" monitor I've ever used.

I recommend the NEC FP955, I have it and am very satisfied by it. Very bright, excellent colors and clarity is superb. I picked one up at Dell.com.

If you can find, it, EIZO NANNO's T765 is by far the best 19" CRT out there..
This is compare to Sony G400 and Samsung 900NF...
