Parents 14" tiny monitor is crapping out and this always make for a good excuse for me to get a new "toy" 
I currently have a 17" Trinitron and love it. I'd like to get a 19" and have been looking at the Samsung 955DF/NF and from what I've gathered from searches they just don't compare to a Trinitron. The monitor is the most important part of a PC to "me" but not more than $300 important if you know what I mean.
Dell currently has the Sony CPD-G410R Trinitron for $290 which is a pretty good deal. I guess I'm partial to Trinitron monitors just because I have one and whenever I use another persons PC I tend to think their clarity and sharpness isn't quite as detailed as mine.
So any recommendations?
