Best 17" LCD Monitor < $480

I'm on a TIGHT $480 budget to buy a 17" LCD monitor. It will be used a lot for watching movies, gaming, and photoediting. My video card is an eVGA Geforce 6800 (reg-12pipes). Thanks a lot for your help!

Can't go wrong w/ the 16ms panel that's in a lot of LCDs. I use an NEC 1760, or you could check out the Hitachi model.

DVI allows you to adjust the colors using software so that they are appear better than what analog allows. Also, to quote ehZn from hardforums:

DVI >>>> vga, without question. I've compared them side by side and the difference is striking. After DVI, vga seems blurry and dull.

Also, Garage81 said, "if youre going to pay the premium for an LCD over a CRT, pay a little more and get DVI. It's very noticeable, and youll be glad you did."

I actually do not own a DVI monitor yet, but I trust these guys on that.

And the 710T Samsung less than $480 by now. For info on it, just look at the forums here or at hardforums.com,cause it's been discussed many many times. Also, just check www.pricewatch.com or www.techbargains.com for the lowest price right now.
