Im looking for the best LCD for $250 or less. 95% of the time its going to be used for just normal day to day stuff (web surfing etc). But once in a while it might be used for gaming. Im looking at the SAMSUNG 710N-BK. Everything looks good about it. Good reviews from what ive seen and everything. But i am tad worried about the lack of DVI.. Was wondering from anyone here that has it. How is it in gaming?

Thanks

Get a screen with DVI. The 710N is a very nice screen (it's the budget version of the 710T without DVI), but DVI helps substantially with text and internet.

I'd get an LCD with DVI these days; spend the extra $50 or so if you have to.

BenQ makes some DVI equipped screens in that price range; their 8ms screens should be around there.

I couldn't be more happy with mine. I got in on a new egg deal a while back. No dead pixels either!!

I have a samsung 730b, it's around 280 at CC AR, but can be had for your price range online. Great monitor, can never look at a CRT again ;).
