Best 17 inch LCD Monitor to Buy

Some 17 inchers are selling under $300. However, I am looking for the optimal LCD: Good cost/benefit ratio. High MTBF. Any experience with models?
 
I just got a Sony x73 and it is great, no visible ghosting (16 Ms), and looks fantastic with DVI. My other
choice was going to be the NEC 1760. Both LCDs got great reviews. Went with the sony as it had DVI,
Speakers (sound okay and tidy up the desktop) and ended up being cheaper.

Look also at the Hitachi models, they are pretty inexpensive and offer great pictures! Also if you can afford it, check out the Samsung 172x, 12ms response time!
