The best value (good price, good quality, good performance) is the Samsung 830, and the best SSD (best quality and performance, 5 year warranty) is the Plextor M3P or M5P.

They only have 8 left and I don't see their next batch being priced so well. I'm holding out and hoping for 256GB @ $250 or less, though I doubt that'll happen.

-going to give up raid 0 for the os when M5P pro 256 comes in end of sept. seems to be 299.00. pre order here.
-been running raid0 [os]from 2006 ,time to move on now that a single ssd 256 can out class my 2 x 120 g2's
