What would be the best model of 120Gb hard drives that I could get for a raid 0 configuration?

The cheapest ;)

Maxtor, Seagate, WD - any of those in a RAID 0 Array will be just as fast as any other IMO.

Hitachi Deskstar 7k250. It's the fastest drive out there and quiet to boot. You ARE backing your stuff up, right? :eek:

(Note: backup everything regardless of which drive you buy. Hitachis latest drives have none of the reliability problems of the 60 and 75GXP series.)

I was bought to mention these guys. If I decide not to get a raptor it will be one of these.
