I've had an Abit IS7 since last May, it's always worked flawlessly, I use a P4 2.4c at 3.3g, 275fsb, day in and day out.

I'm running vcore of 1.525 and a Zalman fan, although I didn't have any problems using the stock HSF. I got a crazy deal on the Zalman so I felt like I ought to put it on.

btw, I'm using a regular IS7, I'm not familiar with the IS7-V linked by lifeguard1999, or the 848p chipset. The regular IS7 is based on the Intel Springdale chipset, which is 865.

Also that new Gigabyte board looks pretty nice too. Based on the specs it looks very similar to the IS7 except for no SATA raid. Maybe it has some other features they don't mention that appealed to you ?

Dang. I thought I HAD linked the IS7. (Kicks self in rear.) That will teach me to pay more attention to what I am doing.
