best 100 dollar video card?

although this is a good card, why not get a deal on 8600GTS some is close to 100 bucks AR probbaly more future proof.

Probably because the X1900GT is faster in basically all current games (Check THG VGA Charts), and the 8600GTS is far too slow to run DX10 games at respectable frame rates. Another bonus, the X1900GT apparently are stellar overclockers, because they are set so low @ stock. Getting near/past X1900XT speeds isn't uncommon.
