Best 100.00 camera

I have a Canon A60 that has served me well for the past 5 years, but it is starting to have problems like the lcd screen being solid white or black sometimes, and the lens sticks occasionally. But all in all it has been a great camera. So, I 'm looking for a new camera in the 100.00 price range and the 2 I like so far is the A590IS (about 110.00) and the Kodak Z1085 (about 120.00). The Kodak has the added benefit of recording 720p HD video at 30fps. Are there any other cameras I should look at in this price range?

if you want a camera that is easily pocketable ebay yourself a panasonic fs3 using MS cashback

Thanks for the suggestions. The reviews on the LZ8 are good but they complain about the slow speed between shots. The FS3 gets good reviews as well. I'm thinking I can't really go wrong with the A590 and it is the cheapest of the bunch but I wish it had better video modes. Too many choices...

The speed between shots is average. It is definitely slower when using flash, but in that regards, Canon is even worse. No flash used, speed is pretty snappy in the LZ8K

I used to have the LZ8, and shot to shot speed was very good as long as you weren't using flash. With the flash off, there's about a .5 to 1 second delay between shots, and about 3-5 seconds with flash on. The reason the flash recycle time is on the slow side is due to the LZ8 using AA batteries instead of Li-Ion batteries...but that's the tradeoff for the convenience of using rechargeable AAs.

If you want to shoot action, the LZ8 does offer a 2.5 FPS burst shooting mode at full resolution, so it's quite handy.
