Our firm is in a HUGE integration project...We're talking a few hundred Domains, into 1 big momma of a Domain.
The problem our programmers are having is 1 of their main applications writes error logs based on IP Address, to which they in turn used to use nbtstat to find who was logged in to that machine.
Now that we're in the midsts of super domain integration, the WINS servers are dealing with HUGE databases of hostnames...Which means nbstat doesn't always return a listing with a hostname.
Are there any other tools that can be used?
Thank you.
