They were talking about this on the news last night and said that Colin Powell was pushing to get Iraq on the list. Any ideas on what the final list might look like? Afghanistan, Iraq ??
Well, Iran is a supporter, but I think we could work with Iran on diplomatic levels since they have a much more moderate government in place now, and the rebuilding of Iran, particularly Tehran -- it would be in their best interest not to have us dropping bombs on them.
I've heard from a reliable source the list of attacks will be done alphabetically. In year 2001 the first country attacked will be Afghanistan, then Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Anguilla and Argentina.
<< Well, Iran is a supporter, but I think we could work with Iran on diplomatic levels since they have a much more moderate government in place now, and the rebuilding of Iran, particularly Tehran -- it would be in their best interest not to have us dropping bombs on them. >>
I'm not up on their more moderate govt, but it also could be percieved that Iran is acting out of selfish best interests. They sealed the border because they don't want refugees and I'm sure that they'd love for us to creme Iraq.
Iran already houses around 2 million Afghani's. Closing their border was a good thing. You dont want the criminals from Afghanistan escaping.
As for their moderate government, they had elections, I believe 70% of their parliament was voted by the people, and their leader is also a moderate. Iranians are very educated people, and they also don't share as much of a hatred towards the USA as other Islamic countries do. There are still hardliners in the government, but of all the Islamic countries, if I had to fathom, they are on the top of the list of a budding democracy
Iran and Taliban are enemy. They have been fighting each other over border disbute for a while now. We need to do this carefully, we need to find enemies of the Taliban and use that to our advantage.
Realistically, our military cannot fight a two-front war. We need to do many things, rebuild, security at home, military action, take money away from bin Laden and his organization, and try not to piss off the Muslims all over the world.
<< Lets nuke the Swiss, never liked them sonsabitches. Whats with all that pussy neutrality stuff? On the other hand they do make good chocolate... >>
Naw, the Swiss aren't pussies, they just refuse to fight any external war. Their entire country is armed, and thier military is a civilian militia. Because of this, and terrain, the Swiss have not been invaded since Napoleon.
They're kinda like a European Honey bee. Don't fvck with them, and you wont get stung.
<< I've been seeing some new Anti-Swiss stuff on Ballericons >>
Now who the fvck would be Anti-Swiss? They are a totally neutral counry, no strifes whatsoever, hell...they ain't even arrogant. Somebody must not like chocalate or watches.
Go Canada Go!! 🙂
The only problem I see with attacking us(Canada) is that you'd have a hard time finding a target. Small targets(our two tanks and four jets) are very hard to hit! 🙂
I'd rather become North Montana or North North Dakota or something, then we'd be part of the mighty American economy.
