i'm going to toronto tomorrow, from the US, and i cant seem to find my passport. i know it must be in my room somewhere, but i last used it 4 months ago, and i cant remember where i placed it.

does anyone know if there's anything else i can use as a substitute? would driver's license and a photocopy of my passport be enough? anything in case i cant find it?

(i'm waiting for the day google comes up with a search engine for my room...)

It used to be you could go with driver's license or birth certificate. Don't know if that works anymore.

As of last April, a government-issue birth certificate and a driver's license/ID card work.
