Beryl on OS X?

I want to get OS X to run under X11 (don't ask me why, but after having it on my openSUSE machine, I fell in love with it). OS X as far as I know doesn't have anything like beryl in terms of a rotatable desktop cube. I have a C2D 15" MBP so I know it will be a PITA to get it to work (ATi + *nix* = less fun than nVidia + *nix).

Am I just crazy for asking this?

What you're asking makes no sense, the OS X UI is in no way related to X at all. Infact to run X apps on OS X you have to install a seperate X server from Apple.

Man, lack of coffee and sleep makes one's question incoherent.

What I mean to ask is, is there a way for me to get the beryl-like interface to work under Aqua. I have X11 installed and if push comes to shove, I'll use gnome in X11 to run beryl (just don't ask, it's still too early T_T).

Doubtful unless Apple releases a compositing manager like compiz/beryl for Aqua. And I would be really surprised if beryl ran right on top of Aqua.
