However, he doesn't even make it into the top 8 of finalist.

If this sounds familiar, it should, because it's more or less the same thing that happened on CNN after the first democratic debate. Bernie Sanders won the online poll by a massive landslide, ~70 points, yet CNN, as well as the other corporate media outlets, declared Hillary the winner by a landslide.

CNN even created a fake poll, and put it on the internet showing Hillary winning by nearly the same margin Bernie was favored by in their own poll. Of course, more eyebrow raising events also took place after that, but that's another matter.

What's more, again by sheer coincidence I am sure, Time magazine, like CNN, is owned by TIme Warner, a large supporter of Hillary Clinton. Yup... sheer coincidence!

Bernie is an internet meme, a joke, and a literal cuckolding fantasizer. Only Reddit and Europeans actually like him.

Lol Europeans are much more likely to be fascist and racist than us but that's fast coming to America with Trump.

Trump is an even bigger meme, but as a white American male I perceive Sanders as a larger threat. Of all the main candidates I'd probably pick Hillary if I had to tbh.

President Ron Paul agrees that Internet polls are very useful.

What has Bernie done this year other than make a few speeches? Nothing. That's why he's not going to be Time's person of the year. Just because you fell in love with him, and a select few who know how to spam online polls fell in love with Bernie, doesn't mean the rest of the world has too.

Actually, the unbiased scientific polls post the 1st debate actually showed Bernie in the lead as well. Ron Paul wasn't even close to that.

He has done a lot more than Jenner, or BLM, or nearly anyone else on the list. That's assuming he doesn't even win. If he wins the primary, becomes president, and continues the political movement into 2018, then he could easily become the most influential person since Hitler.

Probably like Ron Paul, Sander's fans are more motivated to show their support. Which can cause Internet Polls to heavily favour him.

Time Person of the Year is an obsolete and pointless award anyway where winning it is more a sign of your irrelevance than vice versa. Bully for Sanders if he wins it but it means diddly squat to his Presidential prospects, akin to how the "Iowa Straw Poll" is pointless.

"Why do we keep having declining subscriptions year after year? Why don't the American people want to pay money for our nonsense???"

I'm concerned about the seeming lack of corporate greed. Think about this for a moment. Companies like Time Warner are willing to lower their own profits, drive away viewers, and drive away subscribers just to get a particular person elected. Why?
This is like the difference between a contract killer and a serial killer. The guy who does it for money at least has an understandable reason for doing evil things; he'll stop killing people when the money flow stops. The guy who risks his freedom just for the fun of killing people is a special kind of evil. It takes a special kind of corruption to push political agendas at the expense of profit.

We had to "seasonally adjust" the poll numbers :D

He wasn't in the final running because he hasn't done anything, stupid.

In contrast to Trump...Jenner...etc...

I don't think Merkel has done anything stupid, and she's who won the final Person of the Year.

Bernie should have at least been a finalist. And yes I do see how it's strongly possible that Bernie is the left's Ron Paul. Though while the only people I saw support Ron Paul tended to be a pretty weird fringe, I know more people who support Bernie than who support all other candidates combined. I hope they actually get out and vote.

If Bernie was a Sicilian in Sicily, and if Corporate America was the Cosa Nostra, Bernie would, at the present, be sharing the same fate that Jimmy Hoffa experienced.

Why bother with comparing him to Ron Paul when Howard Dean is the better comp?

What? I can barely pick the guy out of a lineup and even I know this post is complete bullshit.

Regarding my third point, his projections:

The meme and joke status should be self-evident.
