He was a bad PM and he is a bad loser. But this guy won't come back because his party alliance doesn't want him any longer and suffers from the same power struggle like Prodi's.

The election of the parliament leaders gave a foretaste of the lack of the majority's unity and the succession of president Ciampi will be another fight (the LA Times wrote that it's not sure that he resigns, but I remember him saying that he's not available for reelection).

It will be a challenge for Prodi to lead Italy. Silly country with two postcommunist, two postfascist and a green party which are all part of the two power blocks. But I wish him well.
