Berkeley's Servers

I've noticed it the past couple of days (and in checking the server status page). Is there something else going on that I'm missing? It's really quite a pain to go check on 60 boxes to make sure they sent their units (and the stats page tells me they haven't, as I'm about 200 behind where I should be for the day).

Such a pain in the arse 🙁

Just change their seti email address to mine and use my Q .... then your machines will have their gas tanks full all the time. 😛 lol

Oh, I'm not running out of cache...yet (would take about 6 days to burn through what each machine is set to), but I still don't like the connection issues 🙁

you want me to go distribute some angry rage on teh folks in berkeley? ILL DO IT TOO MAN! sorry, rough day here at the post office :|

The server has been down since sometime last night. We have a couple of hundred results in the team q and building

Frustrating, no? 😛

See, when it's back up, I'm going to have to go through each and every machine to make sure it's sending as it should (as in situations like this, they tend to hang at some point or another in sending), and as much as I love my TeAm, I very much dislike having to do it 😛

That's why I have all my machines pointed to a q on my main work machine. All I have to do is check the q to see if I have a problem with any of the machines pointing to the q.
bty I also have around 8,000 work units on that machine waiting to be crunched. 😀

Funny .... one of my Qs has been sending fine all day. The other hasn't sent a result since 4am this morning. Wonder what's the difference?

We are working on fixing the network problems that are resulting in dropped connections to the data server.

I've been going through my queues, and I think I have a good 700+ waiting to transmit. I won't know exactly until things are completely flushed, but it should be a good day. 🙂

Figures, I go out of town on business (with plans to setup a queue when I get home) and Berzerkeley goes down.
