Berkeley is really down this time......

I don't think you'll get charged as a duplicate as long as your client doesn't resubmit the same exact WU during some X period of time, regardless of whether someone else submitted it.
 
Well i have about 1,200 WUs queued, i set my min depth to 10 days and max to 20 days, AND increased the Queue size for all users 🙂

And i also have my ConfusedBW account (which i no longer use) as a permanant client, with a 300 WU cache, so i can move WUs from that into any others and then it will just refill 🙂

If anyone needs to use mine send a result to teamanandtech.d2g.com port 80 and send me a PM, and i'll transfer some WUs over to your Queue ASAP 🙂


And Berkeley now tend to send out the same WU a few times within a week or so of getting it, so they can delete them off their servers straight away, and there is (IIRC) no time limit on them any more 🙂

ConfusedBW - please PM Bleep if you can. He put a post up in our public queue thread looking to connect to someone's queue to get WUs and I'm not sure if he's reading this thread. 🙂

A firewall failure at SSL on Saturday caused us to lose connectivity until the problem was fixed this morning.

My queues for some reason only stock 800WUs each (I have one for each of the two schools). They're down to about 400 each, and should be empty in about 3 days.

Hopefully, the small 12 WU caches on each machine will keep them ok till this is restored. If this lasts for another week, I'm screwed. :disgust: >>



Yes, 800 is the setiqueue-limit. To disable the limits, goto the user.1234567-directory, edit user.ini and set
User/Insane=TRUE

Then this is done, this user can use his own limits.
 
I thought I had enough WU's stashed. Well naturally all four PC's crunching finish up during a Berkeley Bandwidth Bottleneck. I may need to move to a different DC project. I get itchy without checking my latest stats!:Q

Just use one of the TeAm's Queue and you should be fine.🙂
When that Q flushes you'll get your stats! 😀
Nobody was able to update during this Berkerley outage 🙁 so we were all in the same boat.

This outage wasn't down to bandwidth problems but due to a firewall failing at another part of the berkley site which is not operated by S@H
Btw make you stash of WU's bigger ,you want at least 6 days worth to be on the safe side 🙂
 
Have had numerous prob.exchanging seti data. Suspect their bandwidth is being consumed by music file downloaders on top of their regular volume of data...?
 
I was refering to this outage which began at the weekend ,they were totally cut off,nothing to do with bandwidth troubles.

Other than that I haven't had any connection problems since their bandwidth troubles many weeks ago.
I think the various TA SETIQ's had been ok too recently
 
Seems to be flowing very smoothly right now at about 3pm EST on tuesday the 19th, I just went for lunch a while back for an hour, and when i came back my setiQ had dumped at least 50WU to Berkeley so that's like about a WU a minute.. smooth flowing it seems to be.. HOPEFULLY IT KEEPS UP LIKE THIS!

Yeah...just got back from a robbery and noticed Seti Team is down.

Chaney should be thanking his lucky stars he came out of Freedom Hall with a win.

One of THE worst bits of officiating I've ever seen...and that's not just cuz I'm quite buzzed at the moment...Pitino was even having problems restraining himself from commenting on the HORRIBLE officiating.

It's not just the teams stats, it's all the stats that are down. :|

Actually, that is a good sign. Maybe when that gets fixed we'll also be able to get SetiTEAM back in action. /fingers crossed/
 
Like I said CGI stats are down ,that includes the stats that SETITeam uses & individual stats.

Btw you should see the mess their forums are in atm!:disgust: ,click on 1 thread & you get directed to another! ,replie to a thread & it sends it somewhere else!

stats are down, mind you, sending results to the server works absolutely great.. very fast.. I want my daily stats kick!
